Real Madrid are allegedly set to complete the move of Manchester United safe hand David de Gea this summer transfer window, leaving superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo stunned.
According to a report by Don Balon, Spain international goalkeeper David De Gea will seal a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu after President Florentino Perez beefed up efforts and prepares to offer Manchester United £99million for the Spaniard.
This would be a massive signing by the Spanish club if they can make it happen, with Spaniard De Gea undoubtedly one of, if not the World’s best goalkeeper right now.
The 27-year-old goalie would be a major upgrade on current number one Keylor Navas at Santiago Bernabeu, and Cristiano Ronaldo is thought to be extremely thrilled with the development, as per Don Balon.
The Portugal international forward sees the Manchester United goalkeeper as an impressive acquisition by club president Perez, and is also delighted for his representative Jorge Mendes, whom he has a good relationship with and who would possibly stand to gain enormously financially from this huge transfer of another of his clients.
As cited by Don Balon, David De Gea came close to joining the Los Blancos back in 2015 before problems with a fax machine meant the deal failed to materialize.
The talented safe hand ended up signing a new deal at Old Trafford and has continued to perform pretty well in the Premier League, though it is little shock perhaps that he is now ready to return to Country home Spain.
