La Liga giants Real Madrid will allegedly not provide competition for Premier League duo of Liverpool and Manchester United in their pursuit of attacking midfielder Christian Pulisic from German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
The America international is labeled as one of World football’s most exciting young talents at the moment after impressing so much in his spell in the German Bundesliga so far.
Don Balon suggest that his preference is for a transfer to Spanish side Real Madrid, but that side president Florentino Perez presently has other priorities in the form of England international striker Harry Kane and Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi to strengthen his attack.
Christian Pulisic is not believed to be a target for Real at the moment, which could hand some encouragement to both Liverpool and Manchester United after recent speculations of their interest in the exciting 19-year-old.
Sport1, as cited by the Metro, recently linked both English Premier League heavyweights as suitors for Christian Pulisic, with Borussia Dortmund set to listen to bids of about £88million for the starlet.
That seems a massive amount to cough out for a player at this point of his football career, despite his obvious potential and massive talent.
Borussia Dortmund also won’t be ready to lose another player too easily after seeing both Gabon international forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ousmane Dembele complete transfers away in the space of only a few months.
This development also follows the trend of the past few seasons as big name players like Mats Hummels, Robert Lewandowski and Ilkay Gundogan have also moved on after breaking to stardom with BVB.
